I’m falling for food! Fall is my all-time favorite time of year. I love the smell of freshly cut wood, woodstoves, the leaf colors, the cool mornings, but most of all, I love fall foods. What can beat an apple freshly picked from the tree, a hot bowl of soup after raking leaves, or the taste of pumpkin pie? Yes, pumpkin pie. Here’s a quick recipe for you to enjoy a healthy version of pie.
Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons pumpkin
  • 1 scoop of vanilla UMP protein powder
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 2/3 cup of ice
  • 8-10 ounces of water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon whipping cream
Instructions
  1. Put ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth.
  2. Pour into a glass.
  3. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkling of pumpkin pie spice.
  4. Enjoy!

  • 1 cup of ice
  • 1 cup of water
  • 2 scoops UMP protein powder
  • 3 Tbsp of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp of natural or organic peppermint extract
  • 6 Tbsp flax meal

  1. Mix in a blender and enjoy.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup of ice
  • 1 cup of water
  • 2 scoops UMP vanilla protein powder
  • 1 vanilla bean
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 6 Tbsp flax meal
Instructions
  1. Slice the vanilla bean “longways,” and using a dull knife (like a butterknife), scrape out the insides.
  2. Add into a blender with all the other ingredients, blend, and enjoy

Who doesn’t love the combination of apples and cinnamon? This smoothie is like apple crisp in a cup!
Ingredients
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 scoop vanilla Ultimate Muscle Protein Powder
  • 4 Tablespoons dry oatmeal
  • 1 Tablespoon ground flax seed
  • 2 Tablespoons walnuts (use almonds if you don’t have walnuts)
  • 1 cored apple
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
  1. Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend on high for one minute. For a delightful touch sprinkle a dash of cinnamon on top. This shake is perfect to enjoy right after a training session.
