What Are Your Five?

IMG_2894Sometimes I don’t feel like being grateful. Sorry, but it’s true.

But it’s hard to stay that way too long if I am disciplined enough to sit down and think about all the things I have to be thankful for.

Like:

  • The week before recovery week at the gym being so much fun
  • Recovery week 🙂
  • The kids excitement as we sit down to do a craft. (A holiday tradition at the Carlson house. We do 1 craft a week for the 4 weeks leading up to Christmas. Some of them are pictured in this post)
  • Our church life group that meets Sunday afternoons
  • That I am on the downside of this cold. 10 days is enough! 🙂

What about you? Ever have trouble being grateful? I dare you to sit down and send me 5 (or even just 1)!

I am grateful for my health, for the beautiful smile on my grandson’s face, for a husband that makes me meals so I don’t have to, for children that are all grown up but still love to spend time with us, and my mom who shows me every day what the true meaning of love is!

I am grateful for warm December weather, that the rain falling tonight is NOT snow, and for my family and friends and that I have what I need.
